The 14th Cherry Blossom Festival of Kunming's Yuantong Mt Park (Kunming Zoo) opened on 23 February, attracting throngs of visitors and citizens to appreciate the blooming scenes of oriental cherries and crabapple. The festival will last till 31 March, and early and middle March will see the culmination.
