Dali international orchid expo was initiated in 2008, and has been held annually. At the event of 2012, more than 170 exhibitors from Japan, South Korean and China (including Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau) etc displayed over 1,300 kinds of orchid and at least 200 kinds of camellia.
