It only takes less than one hour from Shanghai to Hangzhou by fast train (from Shanghai Hongqiao Railyway Station). 

Scenic spots there include West Lake, Lingyin Temple, Yue Wang Temple, Fei Lai Mount, Longjing Village and etc. But if you're not a big sightseeing place fan, we can just go to the West Lake, walk, ride bicycle and get some Chinese tea.
