Tour Description
Budapest has the largest Jewish community in Central Europe, with an active religious, artistic and historical heritage. It is home to many of the city's sites of Jewish interest, such as the Synagogue Triangle, composed of the famous Dohány Street Synagogue, the Rumbach and the Kazinczy Street orthodox temple.
The other two points are the Rumbach and the Kazinczy Synagogues. The Dohány Street Synagogue, also known as the Grand Synagogue is Europe's largest and the world's second largest temple.
The Kazinczy Synagogue is the only Orthodox temple in Budapest and on Kazinczy is the city's only ritual bath, or mikveh.
Within the same building complex as the Dohány Synagogue is the Jewish Museum as well as other sites such as the Temple of Heroes, the Tree of Life, the Wallenberg Park and the Carl Lutz Memorial can be found nearby on Dob Street.

We try to limit our sightseeing tours to small groups of people. To customized to the needs of our guests, we have three types of Jewish Heritage Tours.
The Expanded Grand Tour (3,5 h) includes an interior visit of the Grand Synagogue, the Jewish Museum, the Wallenberg Park and the Tree of Life. We also take our guests on an inside visit of the Temple of Heroes, an interior visit of the Rumbach Street Synagogue, the Carl Lutz Memorial, an inside visit of the Kazinczy Street Orthodox Synagogue and cake and coffee at a kosher confectionery. (Or guests can choose a 10% discount at a kosher restaurant.)
Tours are available from 1st May till 31th October
10:00 on weekdays (Monday - Thursday), on Sundays at 11:00
