1. Tiananmen Square

Tiananmen Square is located in the center of Beijing and covers an area of 44 hectares (880m x 500m) that makes it become the largest city square in the world. It is able to hold 1 million people. The biggest Museum (22 hectares) in the World called China National Museum is situated on the eastern side of square with a collection of more than half million master pieces of arts and crafts of different dynasties. The Great Hall of People is located on the western side of Tiananmen Square and is used as people congress office. It has over 300 office rooms, a huge 10,000 seats conference hall and a dinning hall as big as a football field that can host 5,000 people to have a state banquet simultaneously. In the middle of Tiananmen Square is Chairman Mao Memorial built in 1977 and the Monument of People Heroes. 

2. Forbidden City

Forbidden City is world’s largest royal palace covering an area of 72 hectares (960m x 750m). It was built in 1420 by 1 million workers and 100,000 artisans who spent 14 years. Totally 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties once ruled in Forbidden City from 1420 to 1911. Last emperor Puyi was driven out of Forbidden City in 1924, in 1925 it was changed into Palace Museum and opened to public.

3. Great Wall ----- Badaling Section or Mutianyu Section

Great Wall is regarded as one of 7 ancient man-made World Wonders. It is said it is only man-made project that could be seen from the Moon by American astronauts. construction of Great Wall started over 2,000 years ago by seven kingdoms in order to protect their territories. In 221 B.C. the emperor Qingshihuang who unified China  first time and forced 1 million slaves to have walls linked up in order to defend brutal aggressive Mongolians from North . There is 600 kilometers long wall in Beijing city. Badaling Section was early opened to public and was rebuilt 500 years ago in the Ming dynasty. More than 200 foreign presidents have visited this section. Because Badaling Section was opened early with grand view and a highway leads to there from city, so this section is often crowded and touristy. Mutianyu Section was rebuilt 500 years ago. Great Wall of this section looks old and is less crowded. Tourists  could enjoy peaceful at Great Wall most of time. View is fantastic. There are cable cars and lifts to go to the top of Great Wall. People can slide down by Toboggan to enjoy speedy excitement along the sharp zigzagging chutes. Chairman Mao once said : " People who didn't climb Great Wall wouldn't be heroes. "
