Orta San Giulio your private tour with a local guide! We will visit the nice village of Orta walking through its ancient alleys before making our way to the island named after a Greek Saint, Giulio, where we visit a beautifully decorated Basilica built in the 12th century. Once back in the village we will reach the holy Sacro Monte which lies on top of the hill that protects the village. I will illustrate you the terracotta statues and the frescoes of the chapels dedicated to St. Francis of Assisi.
