Below is the draft itinerary for your reference: 

Day 1:

1) hotel pick up

2) Yu Garden: classical Chinese garden in Shanghai, around which a nice shopping mall for all kinds of light products, specialties and local snacks.

3) The Bund: the former foreign settlement, ranged along with imposing buildings of the colonial period.

4) Xintiandi: The best place to feel and touch the Shanghai of yesterday, today and tomorrow - a leisure entertainment centre with catering, shopping, and an amazing nightlife to suit all tastes and moods.

Day 2:

1) hotel pick up

2) People square: a nice square with People's Park, Shanghai Museum, Shanghai City Planning Exhibition Hall around

3) Nanjing Rd Pedestrian Street: Shop until you drop in the longest shopping street in China and one of the busiest in the world. There‘s something for everyone in its vast choice of stores.

4) Pudong New area: a lot of skyscrapers there including Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Jingmao Building

5) Tianzifang: is an arts and crafts enclave that has developed from a renovated residential area in the French Concession area of Shanghai, China.

or Jade Buddha Temple: A beautiful Buddhist temple, founded in 1882.
