Tour Schedule:

Our well-trained English-speaking tour guide  & private car/van will pick you up from your hotel at  8:30am. We will then visit Tiananmen Square- one of the largest squares in the world, which can accommodate a million people for public gatherings. From here you will walk directly into the Forbidden City. This used to be the residence for the Emperors (24 emperors in total) in the Ming (1368-1644) & Qing (1644-1911) dynasties and occupies 72 hectares (180 acres). It takes approximately 2.5 hours to visit. Lunch will be arranged in a traditional Chinese restaurant (Lunch Included).

In the afternoon, you will drive to Great Wall at Mutianyu(53 miles northeast of Beijing city, approximately 1.5 hours drive). During the drive you will be able to enjoy a lovely view of the countryside, while our guide shares a dramatic introduction to the Great Wall and tells interesting stories. Upon arrival, our tour guide will lead you on a climb of the Great Wall or if you'd like, you can take the gondola (pay yourself) to get a bird's-eye view of the entire Wall. Chairman Mao once said that "You're not a hero until you climb on the Great Wall". Following the climb, we will drive you back to your hotel, where the lovely tour ends!

Note: We will take you to the Mutianyu section of the Great wall because it is considered the most beautiful part of the wall in Beijing and not as touristy as the Badaling section. Yet, if you'd like to visit Badaling or Juyongguan, please let us know in your email or in the reservation form. We may substitute it with the same cost.
