The Mutianyu Great Wall located in the Huairou area is 73 kilometers away from the urban area ,to the west is

Juyongguan Great Wall, and east is Gubeikou . The Mutianyu Great Wall is covered with mountains and Beautiful scenery with vegetation coverage rate of more than 90% . In the spring ,the trees start to get the leaves and the blossoms also come ; in the summer it is very verdant around the whole mountains ; in autumn ,you can enjoy a  bumper harvest  feeling with all the red leaves and fruits ;  in the winter, it is more beautiful with the snow .so it enjoys a good reputation as "Mutianyu alone beautiful" in the world .

     The Mutianyu Great Wall has the domestic first-class cable car and toboggan system .Its construction has a  unique style ,here watch towers are concentrated, (mountain) pass is strategically located and difficult ,both sides of the wall have crenels .Former British Prime Minister  Major, former American president Clinton and many  other foreign leaders all visited here .It was rated as 5A grade scenic spot in 2011.

      In this area around the Wall ,there are lots of characteristic snacks which are very rare in the city ,such as rainbow trout  which should live in the amount of mountain spring water ,home style bean curd ,stewed family chicken ,hill potherb ,stew chestnut, Vegetable dumpling ......

      it takes one and half hour to Mutianyu  Great  Wall ,two hour' s hiking is  enough ,then you can have  a country family food at the foot of the Wall .  In the afternoon  we go  back to Beijing to the summer palace ,it is 4 times bigger than the forbidden city with a total area of 290 hectares, you can take  the dragon boat  to the marble boat  directly ,then you  walk along the long corridor and enjoy the pretty paintings . you  will have  a wonderful time on your day .
