Take a breath of fresh air, and enjoy Great Wall on beautiful mountains.                                             

Time: Leave at 9am from your hotel, return around 6pm or later if you choose to watch a show at night 

Transportation: private car (85USD/day) or public transportation    

The Mutianyu Great Wall is less crowded, famous for its beautiful sceneries and fresh air.  It is a great place for people to enjoy the Great Wall or just escaping the noise and the crowd of the city.  Cable car and speedslide are available for those who are not into serious hiking.

(Optional) Pay a free visit to a cloisonné factory on the way back, and watch the process of making the world famous Beijing cloisonné,  the winner of international prize in 1904 and 1915, and was once only enjoyed by the royal families due to its complicated and highly demanding techniques.  

(Optional) Peking opera or acrobatic show at night, just let me know which one you are more interested.  Please let me know well in advance to secure a ticket for you due to the shows’ popularity.
