Hey, I'm Tang (Sugar), from Dali city of Yunnan province, China. Tang is my family name. and in Chinese, both the word sugar and my family name spell “tang”, the same pronunciation. So, I think that you can remember my name easily now.

Before, I was an office lady after I got my Bachelor Degree of Engineering from the University, and I worked in Shenzhen city (during those time, I improved my English and studied a little French).And now I back my home town in Dali area to have a vacation, and then I’m thinking about staying here in Dali city.

This is a new beginning for me to be a travel guide or language assistant. I mean talking about the office working experiences, you will think about the words like ‘fast step, good procedure management, and decent white collar’ and so on, but travel business is totally different life style. For the office guys, it’s such a thing that you can do when you feel boring to your daily life, something of your own, free to go to the field, enjoy the nature, enjoy fresh air and shining sunshine. And it’s definitely a perfect way to relaxation and enjoy the different life style for the old everybody.

If you are lucky enough, you can meet the country fair in the town around Dali city, people gather at the fair once or twice a week to buy or sale goods. You can get to the country fair you want to visit by bus. Recommended country fair is Shaping fair.

1. The right season for tourist,

The end of May to the end of June is the right season to taste all the fresh grapes, and to view the prosperous Grape output business here in Binchuan.

2. Here's the brief introduce of this Motherland of Fruit, Binchuan county,

My home town（宾川县)Binchuan county，which is belong to Dali  Bai Minority Autonomous Prefecture, is a special place of planting all kinds of fruits and vegetables because it's unique location that brings the different weather condition for fruits grown.

Total acreage of Binchuan County is 2564 Square kilometers, and total population is 350,000.

The early spring comes after the Spring Festival, and the whole county is starting to turn green and full of life, fruit plants is sprouting and blooming. Village people are busy caring their fruit plants in the field.

3. Main fruit kinds output in Binchuan,

1) Grapes, include black grape, green grape and red grape, are in season from May to July. Grape has the largest planting scale in Binchuan from 2012.

2) Oranges, is the most tradition output of Binchuan. Include,

Early maturing variety, in season from August.

Medium maturing variety, in season in winter (before and after the Spring Festival)

And late maturing variety, in season in spring of the next year, that is After Spring Festival till end of May.

3) Pomegranate, in season during the Middle Autumn Festival (About Sep.)

The total planting area of Grape and orange in 2012 is about 190,000 Mu (190,000Mu multiply 667 square meters, equal 1267.3 Square kilometers

Green onion planting and processing is another main business too.

5. About me

My family's house is 3kms far from the central town of Bincuan county.

Binchuan county is about 65kms far from Dali central city (we called Xiaguan city, the new city). And Dali old town is about 15kms from Xiaguan city. And I can live by my own in Xiaguan city or Dali old town.
