Plaza Mayor is one of the main sights, it was the social and commercial hub of Madrid for many centuries. In its surrounding streets we discover the origins of the city, remnants of the Medieval Ages, the glory of becoming the Capital of the Spanish Kingdom and the changes that took place with the arrival of a new dynasty. A past that has remained engraved in the city's monumental buildings, squares and narrow streets, fiestas and social and cultural celebrations. We can complete our tour trying some local food, Tapas, in the bars that form part of the history of our city
