Day 1  Fly from Beijing to Kunming, then fly to Dali.

  Arrive Dali, check in Lanlingge hotel in traditional Bai style in the old town

       Explore Dali Old Town

       Visit the tie-dye village called Zhoucheng

       Visit Er-hai Lake and take a jet boat to one of the islands

Day 2  Check out hotel

Drive to Xizhou to see the tranditional Bai village

      Drive two hours and a half to Shaxi, the most charming little town along the tea-horse caravan trail; Explore Shaxi and maybe bycicle to villages around;

Stay overnight in the Cultural Exchange Center, Shaxi 220 Yuan per room per night

Day 3  Check out and drive to Baoxiangsi Temple, which was built on a big rock, and with lots of monkeys as residence

     Drive three hours to Lijiang

     Check in Jian Nan Chun four star hotel with traditional Naxi Couryard in the Old Town and explore the Old Town

     Overnight in Jian Nan Chun 4 star, Lijiang 390 Yuan per room per night

Day 4  Walk to Black Dragon Pool through the old town

       Drive to the beautiful high Plateau Lake called Lashi, boating on the lake, and take horse riding to the Yi people’s villages in the high mountains, where you get the best view of snow mountains, the First Bend of the Yangtze River in the distance, and the Lashi Lake. And visit Yi family. Yi is a very mysterious group in Yunnan.

Day 5  Drive to Snow Mt. which is very beautiful in this season, take cable car to Spruce Meadow, and walk along the wooden path in the forest.

     Lunch in Baisha Village or

     Shuhe Old Town

     Overnight in Jian Nan Chun, Lijiang

Day 6  Drive to Tiger Leaping Gorge

       Lunch outside of the gorge

       Drive 2 hours and a half to Shangrila, check in hotel and explore the Old Town

       Participate in Tibetan dancing in the main square of Shangrila

       Overnight in Heavenly Hotel 5 star, Shangrila 700 Yuan per night

Day 7  Drive to the Songzanglinsi Temple, the main Lama temple in the area

      Visit Tibetan villages, and visit Tibetan families

      Overnight in Heavenly Hotel, Shangrila

Day 8 Take the early flight from Shangrila to Kunming, and then same day fly to your next destination from Kunming.
