The Impressions Light Show was directed by Zhangyimou, who also directed the Beijing Olympic Games Opening ceremony. Unlike performances with traditional artificial stage, here you get a show with natural background. Indistinct mountain peaks, reflections in the clear water, misty rain, and bamboo forests along with the sound of animals in their natural environment, the light show reproduced artistically the local idyllic and fishing village life.
