Tour Description
I will pick you up at your hotel lobby around 8:30am or 9:00am, and then head to
Tiananmen Square, it's the center of Beijing and the symbolic heart of Chinese
nation, we walk, take pictures, talk about the country's past and present.
After Tiananmen Square, we could walk to Forbidden City through a lively park
where Chinese emperors worshiped their ancestors in the Ming and Qing dynasties.
We could spend 2-3 hours to visit Forbidden City, the formmer home of Chinese
emperors, the buildings in the Forbidden City are resplendent and magnificent, and
it's very intresting to discover the imperial culture.
After Forbidden City, if the weather is good, we could be on the top of the hill in
Jingshan Park to have a bird's eye view of the city.
In the afternoon, we could tour the Back Lake and Hutongs Area to see one of the most
beautiful sceneries in the city, and to discover the traditional life of Beijingers. A
Hutong and lake tour by rickshaw is recommended, which costs 130 yuan/ per
person.
In the evening, I could arrange you a Peking Duck Dinner at one of the most popular duck
restaurants where I also enjoyed the duck myself. Or you could see a Chinese Acrobatic
show which is very entertaining , just costs150 yuan/per person.
