Wandering Shantang Street with Old friends

In 2018, I traveled to Shantang Street with Rabih, a wedding dress designer from Lebanon. Shantang Street is not only close to Tiger Hill but also near the Tiger Hill Wedding Dress City. It was the downtown area of ancient Suzhou. Here, houses are built right next to the river, and the scenery and architecture on both sides of the river are truly beautiful. The night view of Shantang Street was truly breathtaking. There were boats gliding on the water, delicious local delicacies, and a bustling crowd everywhere.If you want to have a unique cultural experience, Shantang Street is the perfect destination. Come and take a dragon boat ride, savor the delicious local cuisine, and listen to the charming Kunqu Opera. Here, you can have a date with the ancient Wu culture that dates back thousands of years.
