Tour Description

The tour begins around 7:30. After breakfast, you will depart for Cu Chi District. Leaving the hustle of city life behind you will reach the entrance of Cu Chi Tunnels to admire the incredibly immense network of Cu Chi Tunnel built by Viet Cong during French and American wars. 10-thousand-mile tunnels is the place where guerrilla tactics are implemented. You cannot imagine how convenient the tunnels are without spotting by eye. During the war, many villagers are sheltered in these extensive tunnels to avoid bombarding. The living quarters, kitchens, ordnance factories, hospitals and even creational places like theater or music halls provide soldiers with diversion. You can understand the hard times in Vietnam history and how diligent the soldiers are through this visit.

After that, you will get back to Ho Chi Minh City. After lunch, your city tour will start by a visit to Reunification Hall which is also known as the Independence Palace. History is profoundly revealed after hearing the tales of an armored T- 54 North Vietnamese tank smashed through the palace gates on 30th April 1975 stating the conclusion of the American War. Next, you head up to the Old Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral - the other two symbolic tourist hubs in Hanoi.

Finally, you will visit one of the most dynamic markets in Ho Chi Minh which is Ben Thanh Market. Wander around the stalls selling the variety of products and go shopping here.

Return to the hotel and the day trip ends.
