In the morning, visit Bat Trang pottery village, about 13 kilometers south east of Hanoi center. Bat Trang village renowned for its over 500 years-old. Upon arrival, a fascinating views of all pottery and ceramic showrooms scattering all over the village. Stop at a small family factory to see how they manufacture their products. Watch the artisans form, paint and glaze their products and you will have a chance to practice your talent with wet clay and a mound. Have lunch at the restaurant before heading to another village is Dong Ho Village.

Enjoy a scenic drive through the peaceful countryside to Dong Ho Village, known for its 300-year-old woodblock folk paintings produced on ‘dzo’ tree bark paper. At its height, the entire village was devoted to this art. Today, there are only a handful of families who are keeping the tradition alive. Visit the home of an elder craftsman and his family and learn about their efforts in preserving this soulful art form.
