Jietai Temple is located on Ma'anshan, Mentougou District, Beijing. It is known as jietan temple or Jietai Temple because it has the largest Buddhist altar in China.


Jietai Temple is a national key cultural relic protection unit. It is the most complete temple in northern China that preserves the most cultural relics of Liao Dynasty. The most special thing is that it has preserved the Buddhist pagodas, sutras, jietan and other rare Buddhist treasures of Liao Dynasty.
