About this place
Baihua Mountain in Beijing was upgraded to a National Nature Reserve in 2008. The Reserve belongs to the forest ecosystem protection type. It mainly protects the secondary deciduous broad-leaved forest ecosystem and rare protected animals and their populations in the Rocky Mountains of North China in the warm temperate zone.
