About this place
Shilin gorge is located in Pinggu District, 70 kilometers northeast of Beijing. It is the core scenic spot of huangsongyu Geopark. It is named after the four steep and graceful Shilin peaks in the gorge. The total length of the scenic spot is 6 kilometers, with an area of 12 square kilometers。
