Beijing Exhibition CenterⅠ

Beijing Exhibition Center was founded in 1954. It was the first grand and comprehensive exhibition hall in Beijing. Nowadays it has the exhibition company, Moscow Restaurant, theater, hotels, advertising company and pastry mill.

The history of the Beijing Exhibition Center traces back to the year 1952, a Chinese official visited the former Soviet Union. Soviet officials said that they would like to open an exhibition hall in China to demonstrate the economic and scientific successes. China decided to build Soviet Exhibition Centers in Beijing and Shanghai. This was to learn about the works that the Russians had successfully done. The completion of the Beijing Center was in 1954 and renamed as Beijing Exhibition Center by the formal opinion of Premier Zhou Enlai in 1958. Since then, Beijing Exhibition Center has held many international exhibitions mostly concerning the economic and cultural successes of socialist nations and Japan.
