Xianfugong (Palace of Universal Happiness)Ⅱ

It is sometimes referred to by the Chinese as "the father of Chinese music" or "the instrument of the sages"); the west room was a Chinese painting storeroom named Huachanshi (画禅室, Literally, Painting-Zen Room). In the room, a rare painting named Xuxitu (雪溪图, Snow-Stream Picture) created by Wang Wei (王维, sometimes titled the Poet Buddha, was a Tang Dynasty Chinese poet, musician, painter and statesman) was well preserved. It is the living residence with well decoration and artistic environment.

Xianfugong (Palace of Universal Happiness) was the residence of the concubines. Its front-hall was the place for ceremony and rite and the back hall was the sleeping hall. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong, it accidentally served as the living place of Emperor. In 1799, Emperor Qianlong died and Emperor Jiaqing stayed in Xianfugong(Palace of Universal Happiness) for mourning until October. Afterwards it was always the living residence of concubines.
