Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is located in Ba Dinh Square, which is one of the most visited attractions in Hanoi and the final resting places of the greatest president. Ho Chi Minh led Vietnam to Independence. The construction of the mausoleum was started in 1973 and modelled on Lenin's mausoleum in Russia. It was first open to the public in 1975. Coming to the mausoleum, visitors will have a chance to hear about the great patriotism of Ho Chi Minh and his role in the Vietnam war as well as the remarkable fighting spirit of Vietnamese residents.
