TEMPLE OF LITERATURE

The Temple of Literature is often considerred as one of Hanoi’s most picturesque tourist attractions. The temple was built in 1070 as the first university of Vietnam which was dedicated to Confucius, scholars and sages. Successful graduates had their names engraved on a stone stele which was erected on the top of a stone turtle. Why we use the simple of turtle and how the 1000-years attraction offers to travellers?
