About this place

Kal Jenni, or Jinns’ Valley, is a valley in north of Tabas near to village of Emaghan.

It is a beautiful and stunning valley that the old natives called considered to be a dreadful place where ghosts and jinns lived. The valley has long, steep walls that can be dangerous. Other attractions in Kal-Jinni are the tunnels and lodges called the house of Gabbres in the heart of the walls built for the Zoroastrian inhabitants of their time. Construction of these tunnels and excavations probably dates back to the Sassanid era. These holes and tunnels lie along the slopes of the valley walls. The path to these holes is very difficult to access.

And why Kal Jenni? This mysterious name has a story for itself. Kal Jenni consists of two parts Kal + Jenni. Call is the valley or path created by floods and water flows. This is because the inhabitants of the villages considered this place scary and the place of the presence of Jinns.
