Tour Description

In the middle of the desert, it can be astonishing to see a verdant city and some villages with fresh water. Tabas -

Aroos-e-Kavir (Desert Bride) - is famous for its green gardens and beautiful sights. Visiting sand hills, springs and rice farms beside palm trees in a single trip is not very common around the world. Autumn and winter are good to visit Tabas, but best time is Spring (March to May) when weather is nice and smell of Orange blossom fills the city’s atmosphere. You can enjoy staying in clay ecolodges, eat local food and watch making Handicrafts such as
copper dishes, Iranian carpets and Palm leaf Wickers.

In a 4-day tour in this historical city and around it, you can see:

-       Morteza-Ali Springs

-       Kharv Vilage

-       Kaal Jeni (Devil’s Canyon)

-       Ezmighan Vilage

-       Halvan Sandhills

-       Esfahak Historical village

-       Kurit Dam (the oldest arched dam in the world)

-       Golshan Garden

There are other attractions in east or south of Tabas that we can add to your tour if you can spend more days here.

This city is located in South Khorasan province, about 800 km away from Tehran (capital of Iran).

You can choose on of these ways to get Tabas:

-       Arrive in IKIA (Tehran-880km) and take a two-day trip on road

-       Arrive in IKIA (Tehran) and take another airplane from Mehrabad to Tabas airport

-       Arrive in Mashhad (570km)

-       Arrive in Isfahan (570km)

All of above-mentioned cities are worthy to visit, too, even you can spend at least 3 or 4 days in everyone.

Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any question about Tabas Tour.
