ADAM'S PEAK

Sri padaya is also called Adam's peak. ( Sinhalese call Samanalakanda, Tamils call sivanolipatha Malai) It is situated in the ratnapura district of the Sabaragamuwa province. There are six trails to access to the mountain ( Hatton Nallathanni, Kuruwita – Erathna, Rathnapura – Pallabaddala, Murraywatte, Mookuwatte and Malimboda) These access are popular among tourists. Sri pada is 2243m ( 7359 ft) tall.
Peak of this historical mountain has the sacred footprint it was identified by Buddhists as the footprint of Lord Buddha. Climbing start 1 am and estimate back time 10 am. Among this climbing we can pass water falls,Tea gardens and most beautiful valleys are there natural gifts are meet us.
