Guangzhou Opera House

The Guangzhou Opera House is one of the most fascinating opera houses in the world.

Designed by the renowned Zaha Hadid—the first female winner of the Pritzker Architecture Prize—and completed in 2010, today the opera house has affirmed its position as a cultural city icon of Guangzhou, and exudes some of the latest trends in architecture. With 70,000 square meters and 1,804 seats, it is the third largest performing arts center in China.
