About this place
It's believed that the place was a zoroastrian temple and had been used as a mosque after Arab conquer.
After passing narrow alleys you find a decorated entrance porch and the huge courtyard surrounded by four halls.
The great dome remained intact from Seljuk era.
Ghajar king, Fath-Ali Shah ordered renovating the mosque and building the stunning ivan with delicate "mogharnas".
The northern ivan was also built in his era.
