Taqe Bostan complex is an ancient site in the north of Kermanshah which dates back to Sassanid Empire. There are series of large rock reliefs carved on the mountains around the 4th century AD. The rock reliefs demonestrate diffrent cermonies in Sassanid court: investiture of Ardashir II; arc of Shapour II, III; investiture of Khosro Parviz; Scene of boar and deer hunting; Nike godnesses; Dowlatshah rock relief; Khosro Parviz riding his horse (Shabdiz). The rock reliefs were constracted in the vicinity of an amazing lake!
