Your tour begins with pickup at the airport by your private guide, who drives you the Great Wall at Mutianyu. During the 1.5-hour journey, listen to your guide's stories about the Great Wall and its history, and enjoy the countryside scenery.  When you arrive at Mutianyu, hop on a shuttle bus to the base of the mountain, and then ride either the cable car or a chair lift up to the wall. If you choose the cable car, that's also how you'll come down; if you choose the chair lift, you'll come down by toboggan. You have two to four hours to hike along the wall, depending on the time of your departing flight. You'll be returned to the airport or dropped off at your Beijing city hotel to end your tour.
