Overview

Visit three of the world wonder’s most impressive sections on a private, self-guided 9-hour tour of the Huanghuacheng, Xiangshuihu, and Mutianyu sections from Beijing. Relish the convenience of hotel pickup and drop-off and enjoy hiking through the lush landscapes that surround each part of the Great Wall.

Itinerary

Your self-guided tour begins with pickup from your Beijing accommodation between 7:30am and 8:30am. Here, you’ll board a private vehicle destined for the Huanghuacheng section of the Great Wall of China.

Following a 1.5-hour drive, you’ll have free time to hike the rugged routes of the section, considered by photographers as the Great Wall’s most beautiful. Due to the remoteness of Huanghuacheng, you’ll have more chance of snapping crowd-free photos.

Reconvene with your driver for the 40-minute journey to  Xiangshuihu section, set against a lush forest and former dam, and spend your free time enjoying beautiful natural landscapes. 

Your final stop is Mutianyu, one of the most famous sections of the Great Wall of China. Opt to take a cable car to Tower 14 or, if you’re a thrill seeker, take a chairlift to the top of Tower 6 before tobogganing down.

Conclude the tour with drop-off at your Beijing accommodation at around 5:30pm.
