Baiyun International Airport, Guangzhou(ICAO Airport Code: ZGGG; IATA Airport Code: CAN), established in August 2000, is a large civil airport located in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong Province. One of the three major airports in China was officially opened at 05 August 2004.
Baiyun International Airport currently has three runways and one terminal, with five runways and three terminals planned for the future. In 2016, Baiyun International Airport passenger throughput 59.78 million, cargo mail throughput 1.65 million tons. Currently, 136 international and regional routes are in operation, with more than 1,000 flights per day reaching 207 destinations on five continents: Asia, Africa, Europe, North America and Oceania.
From the city center of Guangzhou to the terminals you will need approx. 31 minutes by car, as the distance is about 20 miles. but sometimes it takes 40-60min . so please arrage your time.and you also can take the Metro ,that is more fast and no traffic jam .and there are Guangzhou airPort Shuttle bus . Runtime :approx.45-60minutes.
