People's University of China(Renmin University of China)

People's University of China(Renmin University of China) is the first comprehensive research university established by the People's Republic of China. Its predecessor was Shanbei Public School, founded in 1937.

Since it was established, more than 250,000 outstanding alumni have made important contributions in various sectors including goverment, academia, finance, communication and education.

Chinese heads of state Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao and Xi Jinping have all paid close attention and care to its development. Each of them has visited its campus and delivered speeches or written inscriptions for it.
