Trsat

Medieval fortress buldt on remains of Illyrian and Roman forts. Place of best view upon city of Rijeka, third largest city in Croatia, its harbor and suroundings. Very close is famous church dedicated to the Lady of Trsat, one of the largest pilgrimage site in Europe. 

From center of Rijeka you can go on bus number 2 or you can walk on famous Trsat stairway (staircase of Petar Kružić, hero in wars against Ottoman empire)
