The Mekong Delta in southern Vietnam is a vast maze of rivers, swamps and islands, home to floating markets, pagodas and villages surrounded by rice paddies. Boats are the main means of transportation, and tours of the region often start in nearby Ho Chi Minh City (formerly known as Saigon) or Can Tho, a bustling town in the heart of the delta.

Discover the beautiful delta and cultural identity, friendly people of the West Vietnam. After lunch with special dishes of Mekong Delta, the boat will take you to visit different islands, to learn about the lives of this land, visit coconut candy workshop, one of the main regional specialties, enjoy honey tea, tropical fruit while listening to southern folk music, which is recognized as UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage. This interesting Mekong Delta tour continues with paddling a small boat on a canal and horse carriage on country road. But the special part of this tour is the opportunity to visit the floating pagoda of Coconut monk, founder of Coconut religion, and learn about his interesting story.
