Tour Overview

Day1   Zhangjiajie National Park Part A ( Golden Whip Stream, Kidney Village),Nightstay in Wulingyuan.

Morning,enter the park for the first look at the Avatar World on the bottom of the beautiful Golden Whip Stream Valley. 2 hours flat walk along thes stream, listening to the sound of nature.If lucky,meet some wild monkeys.

Afternoon, Trek up to the top of Kidney Village--A specially remained scenic area for Western Hikers, (2hours) Enjoy the breathtaking view of sandstone forest on edge of cliff, then go down the hill to the half point of Golden Whip Stream, then 1 hour reserved walk to the bus station to go out side the park for night stay.

Day2  Furong Old town, Sitting Dragon Gorge. Nightstay in Sitting Dragon Gorge homestay.

Morning,public bus to Zhangjiajie downtown to catch the other public bus to Furong town, which is well-preserved old town with local people. Try the famous snack Rice Tufou while enjoy the old scenery of time.

Afternoon, hire a small van (15-20USD) to Sitting Dragon where we can experience a fun adventure in deep mountain without distrance, hike with iron chains in hands in a narrow valley, end up at a Tujia village where could have nice local food and homestay

 

Day 3 Yuanjiajie,Tianzi moutain. Nightstay  in Zhangjiajie Downtown.

Start early in the morning, pay a local van to send us to the Bus station to Furong Old town, then go back to Zhangjiajie for the bus to Wulingyuan, then enter the park again, and take the world highest sightseeing elevator (Bailong) up to Yuanjiajie area which is the main background of the Movie: Avatar. After it, bus to Tianzi Mount  for the panorama of  Avatar World. After day it, cablecar down to foot for nightstay in Wulingyuan.

 

Day4  Tianmem Mountain, Laodaowan Gorge.

Morning, Get ready for a whole day tour in Tianmen Mountain, take the world longest cable car  to the top, do a circled tour to see the different spectacularity of Karst Landform. Afternoon, bus to the foot of Tianmen Mountain where we can hike with waterfall on the way, and try the exciting zipline and slide tunnel for fun. After it ,have a official dinner together as a happy ending of this specially designed tour.
