Tour Overview

-------------------- Guangxi province Part---------------------------

Day1 Yangshuo Tour. Nightstay in Yangshuo.

Morning:Arrive in Guilin, then van to Yangshuo(90km,2hs) .Tour with Van or Bike (if you know how) around Yangshuo  Countryside to Moon Hill. Banyan Tree Park. 

Afternoon: Drive ( 20km,30mins) to Silver Cave, pay a visit to this one of 10 best scenic spots in Guilin.

Night:Visit the Most known West Street, spend an enjoyable night.

 

Day2 Li-River Bamboo Boat Tour. Nightstay in Yangshuo

Morning: Drive( 45km 1h) to Yangdi Village, From there where the bamboo boat trip starts,2 hs on Li River to enjoy the essence of Guilin landscape, the view is like the Chinese traditional ink painting, end at Xingping Old Town for a visit,then drive (35km,45mins)to Yangshuo

Afternoon: Visit Yangshuo downtown or surrounding like local market, and Bilian Hill.

Night: there is a option to watch Impression Liusanjie, the most famous nature background show directed by the director of Beijing Olympic Game Opening Ceremony.

  

Day3 Longji rice terrace Tour in Ping'an. Nightstay in Ping'an Village

Morning: Leave Yangshuo for  Ping'an (170km.4hs) where the Zhuang and Yao minority live,(there is 20mins hike up to Ping'an which locates on the mountain top. For luggage you can hire a porter）

Afternoon:Go up again to different viewpoints to enjoy the amazing sight of rice terrace in Ping’an Area.

 

Day 4 Ping'an-Golden Hole Rice Terrace. Nightstay in Dazhai.

Morning:Explore Ping’an Village.

Afternoon: drive(25km,40min) to the other part of Longji terrace in Golden Hole. Take cablecar up&down to enjoy the view for an easy trip.

  

--------------------------Guizhou Province Part-----------------------



Day 5  Golden Hole-Guilin. Nightstay in Guilin.

Morning,explore Dazhai village and its beautiful surroundings with camera where resides the Red Yao minority.

Afternoon:Drive(100km,2.5hs) back to Guilin

Night: Guilin Night City Tour.

  

Day 6  Guilin-Congjiang-Zhaoxing. Nightstay in Zhaoxing.

Morning: Drive (15km,35mins) to Train station for a highspeed train(1h) to Congjiang which belongs to Guizhou Province. From there,take a short drive (10km 15mins) to the biggest Dong village in China: Zhaoxing.

Afternoon: Explore Zhaoxing Dong village for sightseeing and photography naturally and culturally.

Night: Join Dong's part to have fun.

  

Day 7 Zhaoxing-Congjiang-Guiyang-Kaili-Xijiang Miao village. Nightstay in Xijiang village.

Morning:After a morning walk in Zhaoxing, drive(10km) back to Congjiang train station to for the high speed train (1.5hs)to Guiyang.(No direct train to Kaili,have to make some transfers)then take  the high speed train (40mins) again to Kaili,

Afternoon: drive(40km,1h) to Xijiang Miao thousand family village which is the biggest Miao village of China-the highlight of tour in Guizhou's village.

Night： Enjoy the incredible nightscene of Xijiang

 

Day 8 Xijiang Village Tour. Nightstay in Xijiang.

A day to Relax,Explore,and photograph in Xijiang Village at a causal pace.

  

Day 9 Xijiang-Langde-Jidao.Nightstay in Xijiang.

Morning:Drive (35km,1h) out for more Miao Village Trip. Visit Longde,where lives the Long-skirt Miao. and Jidao Miao village.Back(35km.1h) to Xijiang for overnight.

  

Day 10 Xijiang-Kaili-Huaihua-Fenghuang.Nightstay in Fenghuang.

Morning: Leave Xijiang for Kaili (40km,1h), Catch an early highspeed train to Huaihua in Hunan Province.from there,drive(80km 2hs) to Fenghuang

Afternoon:Fenghuang Ancient town tour.

Night: Enjoy the night by the Tuo River.

 

------------------------------Hunan Province Part--------------------

Day 11 Fenghuang-Zhangjiajie. Nightstay in Wulingyuan.

Morning: Enjoy the morning view of Fenghuang,relax till noon.

Afternoon:Drive(240km,4.5hs) to Wulingyuan in Zhangjiajie for Overnight.

 

Day 12 Zhangjiajie National Park Tour Park.Nightstay in Wulingyuan.

Morning:Short drive to the Park Entrance in Wulingyuan,take the world highest elevator to the top of the park, visit Yuanjiajie-the main background of the movie:Avatar.

Afternoon, bus 40mins to Tianzi Mountain for the panoramic view of sandstone peak forest.

 

Day 13 Zhangjiajie National Park Tour.

Morning:Visit Golden Whip Stream for a 2.5hs flat walk to see the Avatar Movie View from the bottom. Depart by flight at 15:00 from Zhangjiajie to Chengdu.

 

(There is direct flight on Sunday,Thuesday,Friday..not every day, so the Tour arrangement have to match the flight date.)

otherwise have to drive to the capital of Hunan: Changsha (380km 5hs)and stay one night there for the everyday flight (Plenty of Flights, the latest at 23:05)
