Tour Introduction

First,this tour is a complete  introduction for us to experience every part of Guilin's beauty. Within 6 days, we will  see the classic landscape by different fun transportation, which is regarded as the real Chinese traditional Mountain&Water Painting , we will visit the local minorities  people (Yao,Zhuang,Dong) and their villages and surroundings for cultural interaction.It will be fun.

Tour Overview

Day1 Guilin--Yangshuo. Nightstay in Yangshuo.

After hotel check-in, we begin our tour with a bike ride in the countryside of Yangshuo. On the way, visit the famous Moon Hill and Big banyan tree. Afternoon, enjoy your free time in West street, Exploring fun. Meet in evening for the amazing show called Impression Liusanjie directed by Zhangyimou who is the very director of 2008 Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremony.

Day2 Yangdi--Xingping--Lipu--Yangshuo, Nightstay in Yangshuo.

Morning,drive to Xingping village  for a lovely bamboo rafting on the famous Li river which ends at a very typical old town-Xingping, on the way,just enjoy the best part of Guilin landscape, and feel the real Chinese traditional painting-liked scenery, After a short visit in Xingpu, head to Lipu and take an inner tour in Silver Cave--the one of 10 best spots in Guilin. Free time at night in west street.

Day3 Yangshuo--Ping’an, Longsheng County. Nightstay in Ping’an.

Morning, long drive(4H) to Ping’an village where the minority Zhuang people have been living for centuries. Hike up to Hotel,After check-in, go up to some high spots to enjoy the amazing view drawn by parallel rice terrace. If weather allows, stay longer for the sunset.

Day4 Ping’an--Golden Hole Terrace. Nightstay in Golden Hole

Morning, after packing some snacks and water, we go for a mountain-crossed hike from Ping’an to Golden hole( An easier option: drive in another direction to Golden Hole). , to see different parts of terrace scenery, stay close to nature and yourself. At night, Enjoy the sound of quietness.

Day 5 Golden Hole--Sangjiang--Chengyang.(8 Dong Village),Nightstay in Chenyang.

Morning, leave Golden Hole for Chengyang in Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County, where we can experience the rich culture of Dong People, visit the marvelous Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge--the most well-known architecture in Dong culture, then take an easy walk in 8 Dong villages to see local’s everyday life and listen to Dong songs with beautiful harmony.

Day6 Guilin City Tour 

Morning, drive back early to Guilin, then climb to the highest city spot(Diecai Hill) to have a bird's eye view of beautiful Guilin, afterwards,take a boat trip to enjoy the well-known 1 river and 4 lakes of Guilin.if have time, before departure, visit  the Chinese Tea Research Institution in Linchuan to see the process of tea making in which most of the international travelers usually have curiosity, Happy ending.
