Tour Overview

Day1 Chengdu--Ya’an--Luding--Kangding--Xingduqiao. Nightstay in Xinduqiao.

Meet in morning, drive on the high way to Ya’an, then go along Qingyi River and through Erlang tunnel--the longest in China, stop at Kangding for food and water supply, then rent a van to cross Zheduo Mountain (4298m)for Xinduqiao which’s highly spoken to be the paradise for photographer. we will visit Xinduqiao in details when we’re back here.

(Notice:we may go in a different route: Chengdu--Ya’an--Shimian--Luding--Kangding--Xinduqia. It depends on the weather and size of the group.)

Day2 Xinduqiao--Yajiang--Litang--Daocheng. Nightstay in Daocheng.

Morning, leave Xinduqiao, drive over Gaoershi Mount(4412m),take a look at the highest Konka Mount (7556m)of Sichuan from far, then pass Yajiang and Litang, enjoy the pretty highland scenery out of van window, arrive in Daocheng at dusk.

(Notice: The part from Xinduqiao to Litang is kind of bumpy due to the road reconstruction. Be prepared. On the good side, we can try the local tasty fish at dinner)

Day3 Daocheng---Riwa--Yading--Pearl Sea--Yading. Nightstay in Yading

After breakfast, go on driving from Daocheng to Yading via Riwa. Bus at your own expense to enter the scenic area. around 1:00, we reach Yading village where can see a Buddha snow mountain. Afternoon, visit Chonggu Temple and Pearl Sea on foot. Back to Yading Village for overnight.

(Notice: The road from Daocheng to Yading is quite good. but the condition for dinning and accommodating is limited.)

Day4 Yading--Luorong Pasture--Five Color Sea--Milk Sea--Riwa or Daocheng. Nightstay in Riwa .

Get up early for a whole day activities in Yading Scenic Area. Hike for 3 hour to Luorong Pasture (Optional on you own expense:horse riding or bus), When at Luorong Pasture--the center of Yading, we will be surrounded by 3 snow mountains, then continue hiking to Milk Sea and Five Color Sea for 3 more hours. but it’s not recommended that you go on to Five Color Sea which is highest in this area if the weather is bad or your body is not allowed. Safety will always be the most important thing in sightseeing. Around 17:00, go back to Riwa or Daocheng.

Day5 Riwa--Daocheng. Nightstay in Daocheng.

Start the day tour after natural wake-up, then go slowly back to Daocheng, visit some interesting spot when pass. Free time in the afternoon for your own exploration.If interested, try the hot spring located nearby to remove the fatigue from yesterday.

Day6 Daocheng--Litang--Yajiang--Xinduqiao. Nightstay in Xinduqiao.

Morning,,visit Sandui to see the red pasture.If the tour time is between mid-sept to early Nov. then long drive back the same way to Xinduqiao. Afternoon, take your time to be with the camera and record the amazing view of light and shadow of Xingduqiao.

Day7 Xinduqiao--Tagong--Bamei--Danba. Nightstay in Jiaju Tibetan Village.

Spend a morning inXinduxiao for photograph, then drive to Danba via Tagong and Bamei. When get to Danba in the afternoon, we pay a visit to Jiaju Tibetan village.If lucky, Join a goat barbecue party with the hospitable villagers at night.

Day8 Danba--Luding--Ya’an--Chengdu. Nightstay in Chengdu.

A day of returning home. On the way, visit Shangli old town for a different experience and view, reach Chengdu in the late afternoon. Relax or do something you like to make yourself happy as a reward for this long tour

Day9 Chengdu one day easy tour.

Visit old streets in Chengdu, or go to Luodai Town nearby, try the famous Sichuan cuisine, date with cute pandas. Happy Ending.

Accommodation:3 star hotel o guesthouse in Chengdu. Basic accommodation outside Chengdu.

Transportation: What's kind of transportation we use depends on the No.of travelers.The case usually goes like below:

1-2 : Public Bus.

3-7 :Private Van of 7-9 seats ( or Public bu and Partial Private Van Combined)

8+: Private bus.
