NIGHT 1: TRAIN TO LAO CAI

You will be picked up by our staff at the hotel and take a taxi transfer to the train station. Check into a cabin for the overnight ride to Lao Cai City.

DAY 1: SAPA TREK

On arrival in the border City of Lao Cai early in the morning, you will get picked up and take one-hour scenic drive uphill to the little town of Sapa. Refreshing yourselves and have breakfast at a restaurant. After breakfast, get your luggage stored and take a light trek with concrete steps to Cat Cat Village to see a waterfall and enjoy the traditional music and dance. Get back to the van and take a short drive to Sin Chai village for an easy walk through the village where you can learn about the local life and enjoy beautiful views. After that, you will get back to the town for a Vietnamese lunch.

In the afternoon, get a downhill drive to Muong Hoa Valley. Start the trek at a slope to Lao Chai village, this rural road provides great scenery of rice terrace fields that carpet along hill slopes. On the trek, you will see minority people from some hill tribes with their typical appearance and colorful dress walking, working and playing. It is the chance for interesting local interaction and filling up your album with beautiful photos. Keep trekking down further to visit to minority villages of H’mong and Dzay people. Arrive at the homestay late in the afternoon. Rest until dinner with the family. Overnight at the homestay.

DAY 2: SAPA – HANOI

After the breakfast at the homestay, you will say good-bye to the host family and embark on a morning trek to Giang Ta Chai village which is located down at the valley. The trek lasts about 2,5 hours up and down thee hills and through a green bamboo forest. Have a short rest by a waterfall before hike up to the main road for catching your private transfer back to the town for lunch. In the afternoon, you are free to do some shopping in town or enjoy foot message before going back to the train station for the overnight trip to Hanoi. End of service.
