South Bridge

South Bridge, situated outside the south door of Dujiangyan city , stretch over inner river, called Lingyun Bridge in the Yuan Dynasty, it was rope bridge in the ancient time .  In the fourth year of Guangxu period in the Qing Dynasty（1878 ）, a governor and county magistrate of Sichuan  Province built the bridge with wood and stele . in 1958, the bridge was rebuilt after flood disaster, then renamed South Bridge.
