DAY ONE

Your private guide meets You right off the ship and accompanies You to the modern air-conditioned vehicle, suitable for the size of Your group. You will start with a panoramic tour of St Petersburg, and have a chance to take pictures of the most beautiful places. Then You board the hydrofoil – the speed boat, which takes You from the city centre straight to Peterhoff – the imperial summer residence just outside St Petersburg. You will walk around the brilliant park with a lot of amazing fountains of different shape, size and style. After lunch on the grounds of Peterhoff You will proceed to another beautiful residence of Tsarskoye Selo. At first just a private residence of Catherine I, in the middle of the 18th century it was transformed into a huge gala palace. You will also have the chance to admire the miracle of the Amber Room and hear its long and mysterious story. To crown the day, You will go back to St Petersburg and visit St Isaak’s Cathedral – one of the biggest in Europe, and will be taken away by its monumentality.

DAY TWO

Your guide picks You up again at the port, and You will have a chance to see more of St Petersburg. Your first stop will be at Peter and Paul’s Fortress – the very first construction of St Petersburg, where You feel the history in every stone. You will walk around the territory and visit Peter and Paul’s Cathedral – the burial place for all the Russian emperors. Then You proceed to the memorial church of the Savior on Spilled Blood – one of the most Russian constructions in this European city and the unique museum of mosaics. You will have a chance to try Russian cuisine at one of the local restaurants, and then be prepared to visit one of the largest museums in the world – the Hermitage. It is absolutely impossible to see all 3-million pieces collection in one day, but Your guide will show You the most important highlights, according to Your interests and preferences. We also guarantee to bring You back to Your ship at least 1 hour before departure, so that You do not need to worry about being left behind.
