Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara

You will be picked by our tour guide/drive from the airport in the morning. The driver will give you a short briefing of your safari and immediately transfer you to Wilson Airport for the morning flight to Mara. This is a 45-minutes flight allowing you to arrive at mid-morning. Upon landing in the wild, you will be met by our tour guide who will drive you to the lodge with an introductory game drive en route. Arrive for lunch at the lodge which is followed by relaxation by the pool area. Later there will be another game drive at 4p.m. till 6p.m.

Overnight: Ashnil Mara Camp/Mara Sopa Lodge

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

Day 2 and 3: Maasai Mara – Full day game drives

Spend these 2 days with game drives in search of the big five and many other wildlife that inhabits this beautiful savannah land. There will be picnic lunches at 1300hours along Mara River where you will have a chance to spot more hippos.

Optional activities: a visit to the Maasai villages, guided nature walks and hot air balloon safari.

Overnight: Ashnil Mara Camp/Mara Sopa Lodge

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 4: Mara – Transfer to Nairobi

Arise early as early as 4.30a.m for the Balloon Ride. You will be picked from the camp and transferred to the departure point for the ride. This ride takes from 45 minutes to 1 hour and depends on the direction of wind. Upon landing you will have ‘Champagne Breakfast’ in the heart of the bush. After that you will be transferred back to the camp or lodge for check out. Depart with packed lunch for a last game drive.  After lunch you will board a flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will picked by our driver who transfer you to the airport for your outbound flight or hotel of your choice.
