Tour Description
Day 1: Arrival Nairobi.
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi, Kenya. After passing through customs, your waiting team from will escort you to your hotel, the Safari Park Hotel or Intercontinental Hotel. Rest of the day is spent at leisure for optional excursions available. Welcome dinner at the famous Nyama Choma Ranch Restaurant. Overnight: Safari Park Hotel or Intercontinental Hotel. Day 2: Nairobi -Lake Nakuru National Park.
After breakfast, proceed to the Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at the Lodge. Relax briefly before departing for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru's claim to fame is anchored on its flamingos and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake is a soda lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. The sight of millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance, the lake appears ringed in pink. The lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species, particularly the Rothschild Giraffe, the Black Rhino and White Rhino, while Lions, Leopard, Waterbuck, Buffalo, Baboons are also resident here. Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara Game Reserve
Enjoy an early breakfast, check out and proceed to Masai Mara. A pleasant drive across the dramatic Great Rift Valley brings you through Narok Township, a major Masai administrative centre. As you approach the Masai Mara, visit an authentic Maasai Village. Brief about the Maasai People will be made by our Safari Driver prior or during the visit. Arrive in the Masai Mara - big game country, long famed as having one of Africa’s greatest concentrations of game. Lunch at Keekorok Lodge, in case you are to stay at the Mara Serena Lodge, otherwise at your other lodge.
Masai Mara is an enormous reserve, actually part of the vast Serengeti plains, and is famous for its spectacular great wildebeest migration. Home to the big Five -Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Cape Buffalo and Leopard. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and Overnight: Mara Serena Lodge/Mara Simba Lodge/Mara Sopa Lodge/Mara Sarova Camp. Day 4: Explore Masai MaraGame Reserve.
Opportunity to fly over the Mara in a Hot Air Balloon at an extra cost of U.S $ 450.00 per person. .The balloon package includes a champagne breakfast in the wild, which is an unforgettable experience. Otherwise, we spend the day on the ground in the Masai Mara on morning and afternoon game drives. Large mammals are varied, abundant and easy to see. Residents among the reserve’s mammals are; Masai Giraffe, Eland, Topi and thousands of plain game, including Impala, Zebra, both Thomson’s and Grant's Gazelles. Day 5: Masai Mara- Nairobi – Home.
After breakfast, return to Nairobi arriving at lunch time. Lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant, then proceed to the Intercontinental Hotel or to the Panari Hotel for overnight room.
