Day 1: Arrival Nairobi Serena Hotel

Welcome to Nairobi, a thriving young city spawned in 1899 during the construction of the rail line from the Indian Ocean towards the Lake Victoria. Stay at one of the world's most charming hotels, the Nairobi Serena Hotel, for a quiet respite in the center of the city. Day 2: Nairobi – Tsavo West National Park.

After breakfast, drive to Tsavo, Kenya's largest National Park. We shall make a stop is made at Mzima Springs, where from an underwater tank; it is sometimes possible to watch a hippo along the floor of these crystal springs. Tsavo is famous for its large herds of elephant. Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Lodge or similar

Day 3: Tsavo National Park-Amboseli National Park

Breakfast at the lodge. Morning departure by road to Amboseli National Park. There you will experience your first mid-morning game drive in a park that is famous for its breath-taking views of Kilimanjaro. The park also shelters more than 420 species of birds. Enormous Elephant population and other big game are attracted to the area by underground springs fed from the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro. Lunch at the Amboseli Serena Lodge, and then have some time to relax before departing for a late evening game drive. Return to the lodge and enjoy a scrumptious dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge or similar.

Day 4: Explore Amboseli National Park

Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for a dawn game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons. Midday finds us at our lodge for lunch and afternoon rest, followed by another closing game drive. Amboseli is home to the legendary Maasai tribesmen. Maasai warriors are famous and are proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world. Day 5: Amboseli National Park-Mountain Lodge

Breakfast at lodge. Morning drive to Nairobi for lunch at Safari Park Hotel. Afternoon drive past Thika an industrial town surrounded by extensive pineapple plantations, partially owned by Delmonte Company. After crossing the Tana River source of Kenya’s hydroelectric power, the landscape changes to lush as you climb into the rich farmlands of the Kikuyu people. Arrive at the Mountain  Lodge, your tree hotel, where the night is spent watching different animals as they come to visit the floodlit waterhole and saltlick. Elephants, Rhino, Buffalo, Giant Forest Hog, and many other species frequent the waterhole. Dinner and overnight at the Mountain Serena Lodge or similar.

Day 6: Mountain Lodge-Samburu Game reserve

Breakfast at the lodge. Morning drive to Samburu Game Reserve located in the northern rugged semi-desert region. Samburu Game Reserve is a wild and little visited region, well known for spectacular scenery and wildlife not found in the south; Reticulated Giraffe, the rare Grevy’s Zebra with its large furry ears, the Gerenuk antelope standing on its hind legs to feed and Somali Ostriches with their distinctive blue legs. Lunch upon arrival at your lodge then proceed on afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge or similar

Day 7: Explore Samburu Game reserve

Day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. You may see Elephant, Cheetah, Leopard, Eland, Oryx, Impala, Dikdik, Waterbuck and a variety of birds. This lava plain includes a varied landscape of red dirt, thorn scrub, broken volcanic rock, dried riverbeds, steep hills and rocky outcroppings. Following the river’s curves, a forest of Doum Palms, Acacia and Tamarind is a magical contrast of cool green. Other areas of the reserve include the Uaso Nyiro River, where crocodiles sun-bathe on the banks. It also provides an oasis for a variety of game. Birds are abundant, with 365 species recorded, one for every day of the year. In between the game drives, there is an opportunity to visit a Samburu Village (Manyatta) at an additional cost. Day 8: Samburu Game Reserve-Lake Nakuru National

Breakfast at the lodge. Morning drive via Nyahururu Falls to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arriving at the lodge in time for lunch at the Lion Hill Lodge.

The L. Nakuru National Park is the famous home to thousands of lesser and greater flamingoes. This park also provides sanctuary for the Rothschild Giraffe, Rhino and Leopard. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Lion Hill Lodge or similar

Day 9: Lake Nakuru National-Mara Game Reserve

Breakfast at the lodge, then drive out of the Great Rift Valley to arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch at Mara Serena lodge.



The Mara offers wildlife in variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe; over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see Lions, Rhinos, Hippos, Crocodiles, Giraffe, Wildebeests, Zebras, Buffalo, Warthogs, Hyenas, and Jackals, Buffalo, and a variety of antelopes. It is in the Mara that the most spectacular event of natural wonder takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search for water and pasture. Behind their heels are predators of the savanna - Lion, Cheetah, Jackals, Hyena and Vultures. Depart for an afternoon game drive until dusk. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Serena Lodge or similar

Day 10: Explore Mara Game Reserve

We spend a day in the Maasai Mara on early morning, morning and afternoon game drives. The trees in the distance might turn out to be a family of Giraffes. Those clump of bushes might turn out to be a pride of Lions, and the rock that moves a Rhino lumbering out of your way. With diligence and some luck, you may encounter a family of Cheetahs, or a herd of Elephants crossing infront of you. Large animals are not the only entertainment - a family of warthogs may amuse you, running as fast as their little legs will carry them, until they forget why they are rushing and stop to re-group. Day 11: Mara Game Reserve-Nairobi

After breakfast, return to Nairobi arriving early afternoon. Rest of the afternoon is spent in Nairobi for day room at the Nairobi Serena Hotel. Evening transfer to Carnivore Restaurant for your farewell dinner. After dinner transfer to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international home-bound departure flight.
