Visit a txakoli wine cellar and its vineyards, taste the wines and enjoy a slap-up meal on the coastal slopes of Getaria. Go for a walk around this coastal village and visit its unique Balenciaga Museum.Txakoli is a white wine very much appreciated in the world of gastronomy. During this visit we will have the opportunity to discover the vineyards, located on the sunny slopes facing the sea. We will also learn about the wine elaboration process in the cellars and we will taste the different wines produced in the wine cellar accompanied by a tasting of the local products (guindillas –green peppers–, tuna fish, cheese…).

We will also be visiting the coastal village of Getaria.

A wonderful building, a palace that belonged to the mother of Queen Fabiola and in the native town of the fashion designer Cristobal Balenciaga (Getaria), is the Balenciaga Museum. It is worth visiting. You will have the opportunity to see more than sixty fine creations of the master of the needle. Cocktail suits, bridal gowns, party dresses, etc..

 

Besichtigung einer typischen Weisswein-Kellerei, Rundgang durch die Weinberge, Weinprobe und Aperitif mit Häppchen in den Weinbergen von Getaria. Spaziergang durch den Ort und Besichtigung des beeindruckenden Balenciaga-Museums. Txakoli ist ein Weisswein, der ausschliesslich an der baskischen Küste produziert und im Bereich der Gastronomie sehr geschätzt wird. Während dieses Besuchs haben wir die Gelegenheit, die Weinberge kennenzulernen, die an den sonnigen Hügeln mit Blick aufs Meer liegen. Wir sehen auch, wie der Wein in den Bodegas hergestellt wird und machen eine Weinprobe, bei der wir auch typische regionale Produkte essen werden (Paprikaschoten, Thunfisch, Käse…).

Anschliessend machen wir einen Spaziergang durch den schönen Küstenort Guetaria.

In einem wunderschönen Gebäude, einem Palast, der der Mutter der Königin Fabiola von Belgien gehörte und sich im Heimatdorf des Modeschöpfers (Getaria)befindet, ist das Balenciaga-Museum.

Es lohnt sich, dieses Museum zu besuchen mit den Kreationen des Meisters, die dort ausgestellt sind. Coktail-Kleider,Brautkleider,Fest-Kleider usw…
