Tour Description

Day 1: The first stop: the Palace of Culture, the historical symbol of Iasi, which inherited the legend of the 365 rooms, as many as the days within one year. Next, you’ll admire two of the most imposing religious monuments of Iasi: Three Hierarchs Church and the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Roznovanu and the ‘’Vasile Alecsandri’’ National Theatre, the oldest in Romania. Enjoy a beautiful view over the whole city from the tower of the Golia Monastery, where you’ll be surrounded by the inner peace of the monastery. The tour ends in one of the most representative historical places of Iasi, the Union Square (where the Union of Romanian Principalities took place), with a visit to the Union Museum.

Day 2: This day starts with Ruginoasa Palace, the only palace with a hologram of Alexandru Ioan Cuza, the first prince of Romanian Principalities and Sturdza Castle, from Miclauseni, a charming castle managed by the nuns from the neighboring Monastery. A visit to Miclauseni Monastery, near the Castle, is also included in the tour. From Ruginoasa we will go for lunch at Polizu Manor, a vivid image of the luxury of the past situated in the middle of the nature. The afternoon is dedicated to a ‘’wine road’’, starting with a visit at the Museum of Vineyard and Wine and after, a wine tasting at the Cotnari Winery.

Day 3: After two charged days, your last day in Iasi City is dedicated to relaxation in the land of plants by visiting the Botanical Garden, “the green corner of the city”. After you’ve recharged your batteries, feel the pulse of the city in a shopping therapy in the most luxurious shopping mall of Romania: Palas Iasi.
