Qiongzhu Temple (Bamboo Temple）

Qiongzhu Temple or Bamboo Temple is located on Yu'an(Jade Table) Mountain in Kunming. Since it's remote location in suburb Kunming, few people visit there. Thanks to this, the temple remains its tranquility and sacred atmosphere. What makes it famous is the group statue of  500 Arahats, all in vivid and human-like shape. I'm sure when you walk in the very hall of 500 arahats, you will find them more imposing than any other statue you have seen before. At least that's the feeling I get.
